in the time of malcolm X

An attempted black right movement had started out from his father, Earl Little and Marcus Garvey. Marcus Garvey was the founder of the Universal Negro Improvement Association or U.N.I.A in which Malcolm’s was a big part of and he ran the Omaha chapter. This organization’s main purpose was to bring about a black rights movement to that there for the rights that they could have the freedoms that the non colored white people had such as sitting in the front of the bus going to the same schools and therefore that black people could have the same respect and dignity as the other people. Malcolm also contributed to this by doing speeches setting up rallies doing protests and occasionally violent acts to show that they were serious. Malcolm X started a group after he had become a Muslim he stated a group called the black Muslims in which he when to different places trying to get the best care for the black people in the area. Authorities in those areas knew about the Black Muslims and heard rumors that they hated white people and that they were trained in the deadliest of the martial arts, but this was not true the Black Muslims were a peaceful group that did know the martial arts but did not use them they were just there to take good care of the black population.
